Senior UX/UI Designer (long-term interim assignment)
Shape the future of digital design at scale – join a core team building a design system used across brands at a leading global company.
Are you passionate about building seamless digital experiences through structured design systems? We are now looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join the core team behind a well-established design system at a global industrial company.
This is a long-term consultancy assignment where you'll be a key player in a multidisciplinary team of Designers, Developers, a UX Writer, QA Engineers, and Scrum Masters—all collaborating closely on a daily basis.
About the Role as Senior UX/UI designer
You’ll contribute to continuously developing a cross-brand design system used across multiple web and mobile platforms. The system is designed to ensure a consistent, seamless, and accessible experience in all digital touchpoints.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain reusable components and design patterns
- Work on design foundations (typography, color, spacing, border radius, etc.)
- Document usage best practices and guidelines in the design system portal
- Produce training materials and tutorial videos
- Support onboarding, presentations, newsletters, and design system-related events
About you and your experience
You are a structured, detail-oriented designer who thrives in collaborative environments. You enjoy creating tools and systems that empower other designers and developers to work more effectively. You're also a clear communicator, confident in presenting your work and supporting others through training and documentation.
We think you bring:
- Extensive experience in UX/UI design for omnichannel products or services and a solid background in creating and/or extensively working with design systems
- Expert-level Figma skills, including knowledge of tokens, variables, and component libraries
- Strong systems thinking and confidence in tackling complex design challenges and high visual design standards, as well as the ability to deliver polished interface components
- A good understanding of accessibility principles (WCAG) and the ability to communicate in English
- Experience in motion design is a plus.
