Our client is strengthening its capabilities in enterprise‑wide Data & AI Governance and is looking for a senior expert who can bring clarity, structure, and impact to one of the company’s most important transformation areas. In this role, you will contribute to building trustworthy, transparent, and future‑ready data and AI practices that support the organisation’s global business and digital innovation journey.
About the Role as Data & AI Governance Consultant
In this senior role, you will play a key part in defining, refining, and embedding the frameworks that enable our client to manage data and AI responsibly, consistently, and effectively across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders in Data Governance, Technology, Legal, Risk, and business units, ensuring a clear operating model, updated governance documentation, and the practical adoption of Responsible AI principles across teams worldwide. In this position, you will also provide practical, hands‑on support to enable the effective rollout of Responsible AI across the organisation, ensuring that governance principles translate into real operational adoption.
Your key responsibilities will include
• Leading the review, refinement, and drafting of Data & AI governance documents and policies
Conducting structured gap analyses against leading frameworks (e.g., ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, EU regulatory expectations)
Designing and documenting the target Data & AI Governance operating model, including roles, processes, and decision structures
Driving and participating in implementation sprints to operationalise Responsible AI practices
Facilitating workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions to ensure alignment and capability‑building
Providing expert guidance on Data & AI governance matters to leadership and cross‑functional teams
Your profile
You are a structured and analytical thinker who thrives in complex environments and enjoys turning ambiguity into clarity. You are comfortable leading discussions with senior stakeholders, navigating multiple perspectives, and proposing solutions that balance business needs, regulatory requirements, and responsible practices. With your ability to communicate clearly and build trust across functions, you help organisations mature their governance capabilities and adopt new ways of working.
Your experience
Deep experience in Data Governance, AI Governance, Responsible AI, or similar fields within regulatory, compliance, or technology‑driven environments.
Solid understanding of ML lifecycles, data pipelines, model evaluation and monitoring, explainability and bias assessment, AI security, and data quality control practices.
Extensive experience working with leading AI governance frameworks, including EU AI Act–related requirements, ISO 42001, and the NIST AI RMF.
Proven ability to design operating models, develop policy documentation, and lead cross‑functional workshops.
Experience working in global, multicultural organisations is an advantage.
Good to Know
This is a full-time consultancy assignment (100%) based at the company’s headquarters in Stockholm, Stadshagen, with a hybrid working model applied. The assignment starts 13th of april until 12th of june 2026.
