Content Designer / UX Writer to Top Swedish Organization (temporary assignment)
As Content Designer you will build engaging digital experiences for global brands by working closely with brand, voice, and tone guidelines.
We are looking for a Content Designer to join a cross-functional, agile development team at a global leader in home appliances. In this role, you will balance the craft of UX writing with the strategic management of the translation process, playing a key part in transforming the industry.
While the appliance industry has traditionally centered on hardware, this role offers the unique opportunity to bridge the gap between hardware and software, creating meaningful, data-driven experiences for a global consumer base. The mission is to make dish and fabric care less of a chore by reducing cognitive effort on complex tasks—such as choosing the right cycle, spin, or detergent. By building user confidence and providing sustainable insights, the Content Designer will help consumers reduce both costs and their environmental impact.
Duties and responsibilities
As Content Designer you will build engaging digital experiences for global brands by working closely with brand, voice, and tone guidelines. They will play a key role in solving problems for users worldwide, ensuring every touchpoint feels intuitive and consistent.
The main responsibilities include:
• Writing excellent product copy across the end-to-end user experience, including UI microcopy, instructional content, and naming conventions.
• Managing the translation process, from administering the translation toolkit to coordinating with external translation agencies.
• Ensuring global consistency by building strong relationships with writers and content strategists across the organization.
• Collaborating with cross-functional peers in design, research, product, and engineering to solve complex user problems.
• Contributing to the design system by maintaining the global glossary and creating UX writing guidelines as needed.
Experience, knowledge and skills
We are looking for a professional who can articulate their design rationale to any stakeholder and thrives in an iterative Build-Measure-Learn environment. The ideal candidate uses empathy, logic, and data-driven insights to improve content and is a self-driven problem-solver who acts with integrity.
To succeed in this role, you have:
• 3+ years of experience writing for web/mobile products and developing style guides.
• A solid understanding of UX design principles, interaction patterns, and accessibility best practices.
• Expertise in internationalization, with a passion for designs and language that scale globally.
• Technical proficiency in translation software (e.g., PhraseApp) and design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Zeplin).
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• A strong portfolio (online or PDF) demonstrating a range of work and problem-solving skills.
Good to Know
This is a full-time consultancy assignment (100%) based at the company’s headquarters in Stockholm, Stadshagen, with a hybrid working model applied. The assignment starts as soon as possible until 20th of February 2027.
