Tarkett, a global leader in innovative, sustainable flooring is looking for a strategic and driven Nordic Segment Manager to help accelerate growth in its professional segment. As our new Nordic Segment Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping Tarkett’s B2B commercial category and segment strategies across Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. You’ll be the bridge between the Nordic market and our EMEA category teams making sure that insights, opportunities, and customer needs are clearly reflected in our strategy, product range, and commercial priorities.

Role Overview and Key Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll lead the work of defining, driving, and implementing category strategies that support profitable growth in the Nordic region. You’ll take full responsibility for category performance; sales, market share, product mix, and profitability while ensuring that Nordic perspectives are always visible in product roadmaps, market activities, and broader strategic decisions.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Strategic Development & Category Ownership
- Drive Nordic category and segment strategies, ensuring alignment with Tarkett’s EMEA direction while tailoring to local needs.
- Act as the Nordic expert for your categories, supporting Sales, Marketing Communications, and other internal teams.
Portfolio Management & Product Management
- Own the Nordic range and SKU selection, ensuring the right product mix for each route to market.
- Represent the Nordics in product development discussions and influence innovation based on local insights.
- Ensure that new products meet Nordic requirements and expectations.
Market Insights & Opportunity Identification
- Identify new business opportunities within products, innovations, and market channels.
- Proactively monitor competitor activity, market trends, fairs, and customer insights, turning intelligence into actionable plans.
Performance Tracking & Execution
- Secure strong business performance by tracking KPIs and identifying corrective actions when needed.
- Lead business case development and analysis for the Nordic region.
- Plan and execute product launches in collaboration with Sales and Marketing Communications to ensure commercial success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Nordic Sales Networks (sales teams and technical teams), Marketing Communications, supply chain, finance, and EMEA category teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in ways of working and cross-functional processes.
Professional Experience and Background

Experience
- Extensive experience in product marketing, category management, commercial roles, and/or product development, ideally across multiple functions.
- Demonstrated ability to work with product portfolios in a commercially driven environment.
- Proven track record of translating strategy into action with measurable results.
- Proficient in operating effectively with English as the main language in professional settings.
Education
- Master’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.

The role involves occasional travel.
This is a permanent, full-time position located in modern offices in Sollentuna, well served by public transportation. Commencement is expected at the earliest possible date, taking into account any notice period.
