PDSVISION is a global provider of services around 3D Design (CAD), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Product Data Management (PDM), Simulation Modeling (CAE), Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR) and Aftermarket Solutions.
As a Senior Technical Consultant / PLM Architect, you will play a key role in helping leading industrial companies across the Nordics and beyond to shape and realize their digital product data strategies.
Duties and responsibilities as Product Information Architect
In this role, you combine deep technical expertise with a strong advisory focus. You will take a leading role in designing, implementing and evolving customers’ PLM and related environments, ensuring that solutions are scalable, robust and aligned with both business needs and technical best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the implementation and configuration of PLM and CAD solutions
You take technical ownership of complex implementations and upgrades, including system installation, configuration and optimization. - Driving data migrations and transformation initiatives
In larger, multi-year projects, you lead the technical design for system modernizations. - Acting as a senior Trusted Advisor and PLM Architect
You take a proactive advisory role towards customers, helping them understand and challenge their current ways of working and guiding them towards more efficient and PLM architectures. - Deep technical work within PLM architecture and integrations
You are expected to bring a “super tech” profile with strong understanding of databases, PLM architecture, system logic and integrations. - Building long-term, strategic customer relationships
You help build and maintain long-term partnerships with key customers. - Supporting and collaborating with delivery teams
You work closely with other consultants sharing knowledge, supporting less experienced colleagues and contributing to the continuous development of PDSVISION’s delivery methods and best practices.
This role is well suited for someone who wants to combine hands-on technical depth with architectural thinking and customer-facing advisory work.
Experience, knowledge and skills
To be successful in this senior role, PDSVISION is looking for someone who brings:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience from technical consulting, system implementation, product development or similar roles
- Solid experience working with PLM-, CAD- or PDM-systems
- Proven experience from leading or technically owning system implementation projects, including installations, configurations, data migrations, upgrades and/or integrations
- Strong ability to analyse and design data models, workflows and system architectures in collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders
- A consultative, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to take ownership and make informed decisions
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and accessible way to different audiences
- Fluency in English; Swedish and/or Finnish is a strong advantage
- Valid work permit in Sweden or Finland

Good to know
- This is a full-time, permanent position with a 6-month probation period
- Hybrid setup: the company’s policy is three days per week at the office and two days remote
- You are preferably based close to one of PDSVISION’s offices (e.g. Gothenburg, Lund, Stockholm, Denmark or in Finland), but remote candidates within the Nordics can also be considered if able to travel to the office from time to time
- Start date: from January 2026 or as agreed
